I graduated from the University of Bahrain with a BSc in Electronics Engineering. After few months I joined OSIsoft as a Customer Support Engineer, where my experience began to grow and expand. Currently I am working as Regional Services Lead, Middle East and Africa, where I manage a great team of Engineers as well as managing and assuring the quality of the services provided to our customers regionally such as Technical Support, Sales Support, and Project Management. What I like about OSIsoft is that everyone is ready to help, it provides a friendly atmosphere, and a family-like environment.
I am a Systems Engineer, which means that I collaborate closely with internal employees, such as sales, support, and global solutions, as well as interact directly with customers from companies leading the way with industrial technologies and data analytics every day. I'm continuously learning more about software, hardware, networking, cybersecurity, and operational industries, and use my knowledge, experience, and troubleshooting skills to help our customers realize the value of the PI System. I enjoy working at OSIsoft because of the helpful and driven employees, the excited and intelligent customers, the broad range of industries we work with, the proven and cutting-edge technologies we use, as well as the freedom we get to help our customers and our company in so many ways.
I joined OSIsoft back in 2010 as a Product Support Engineer then moved on to be the Regional Lead for the MENA team, helping on presale as well as post sale of the PI system. In 2015, I worked on integrating the team in Sub-Saharan Africa with the Middle East team to have the fantastic MEA group that we have today. As the current Director of Support & Services for Asia-Pacific, my team and I are focused on helping customers achieve success and excel on their digital journey. In addition to working along the best people at OSIsoft, I like being here because I get to be “me” in everything I do. My ideas and thoughts are always heard while surrounded by great individuals who are always open to try new things and take on new challenges.
I started working at OSIsoft after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a PhD in Bioengineering. It was exciting to embark on this new journey as I found many unique challenges ahead and a plethora of opportunities to learn new skills. As a Team Leader in the Engineering Department, I work with a development team to design, build, and deliver software products and features. I serve the team by keeping the energy and standards high, as well as acting as a liason to collaborate with other teams. OSIsoft is a company that fosters growth and I love the innovative and inclusive culture. It has been a blessing to work with all the bright people here.
