At UCLA, I majored in Electrical Engineering. My engineering background further enhanced my passion for technology and appreciate the expertise of professional engineers. Currently, I am an Inside Account Representative where I manage the annual maintenance sales pipeline for OSIsoft's existing customers in the Western US. My work has taught me that I'd rather speak about a product than be caught up in the trenches of Fourier transforms and syntax errors. I love OSIsoft because of the company's culture - there is freedom and flexibility for individual career growth, not to mention the awesome talent and friends that make it worth coming to work every day.
I graduated UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. When problem solving, initial suspicions can lead to the wrong path, but studying Mechanical Engineering at Cal gave me the skill set that I needed to consider all sides of the problem. As a Technical Support Engineer, I handle technical issues that customers face with our products. Technical Support is the first main point of contact for our customers to submit their requests for product enhancements and to help with configuring their products. We are available 24/7 to help them.
I graduated from ASU with Masters in Computer Science. I joined OSIsoft as a Software Engineer over and year and a half ago and have been working on developing a search feature for one of our products since then. I love OSIsoft because the company encourages a good work-life balance which makes it a great place to work. I have the flexibility of working on what interests me, which makes it fun to come to work every day.
I joined OSIsoft not too long after I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Physics and a minor in Technology Management. As a Customer Support Engineer, I rotate between a Technical Support and a Field Service Engineer position where in both I might set up or fix customer's PI Systems. College prepared me for problem solving, one of the most important skills required for this job. Because every project has an issue that needs solving, good problem solving skills can save hours. My favorite part about OSIsoft is the people. Everyone, regardless of experience, gets along and is willing to help each other out. There are very few companies like OSIsoft.
At UC Berkeley, I studied Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, which prepared me to think about processes, efficiency, and data analysis. Classes I took help me even today as I consider how to improve the quality of our business processes. As a project manager in our Process Management department, I manage cross-functional business process analysis projects with many other departments. I analyze data and facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholders. I love OSIsoft because of the culture, the camaraderie with my fellow coworkers, and the abundant opportunities to take initiative and learn new things.
